I am a cisgender woman and use she/her pronouns. I am a parent, doula, writer and teacher and I live and work in Xwesam, on the traditional lands of the Shishalh and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh nations with my incredible family. I have spent many years observing and studying many aspects of childbirth, as well as the transitions and traditions surrounding it. Being present to experience the immense power that can emanate from birthers and families as they step up meet these moments, is both awe inspiring and a privilege.
